Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria for Postings


  1.   At this time, postings (events) can only be listed for California counties with populations under 800,000.


  1.   Events must meet the following criteria to be listed on Calaloop:


  1. 1)Events must take place in the counties of the calendars on which they are listed AND

  2. 2)Events must support or serve lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender individuals OR

  3. 3)Events must draw a mainly or large lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender crowd


Events that do not meet these criteria will not be posted.


  1.   All Events are subject to scrutiny by users of Calaloop. If 25 Calaloop users flag an event as “not meeting Calaloop listing criteria,” Calaloop staff will contact the person who submiited and the event will be removed if confirmed that the criteria are not met.


  1.   The person who submits an event is responsible for the accuracy of each of the facts stated therein. 


  1.   Modification of events can be made by using the “change an event” (resubmittal) form. Information for events will not be changed unless all contact information (name, phone, and email) listed on the original posting form matches the information listed on the resubmittal form.


  1.   The following items will not be posted: materials that are intended to slander a group or person, material that is obscene, and materials that promote hatred or discrimination.


  1.   Inclusion on the calendar does not imply endorsement by Calaloop.
